I love Sunbrella...perfect for interiors or exteriors! Exceptional for a home with children, dogs or a very active lifestyle. I'll have to check out their fringe!
I love Sunbrella's weather-resistant fabrics and the fact that they now offer fringe, too, but outdoor upholstery isn't as new as you might think: when I was ten, we moved to a small farm community where half the houses in town had an old couch out front. Truly, there is nothing new under the sun.
That's why, these days, if I were upholstering an outdoor sofa, I'd choose a combination of fabrics in brighter, juicier colors, rather than neutral tones, which might give me unintended flashbacks to the neighbors' porch: say strawberry red fabric with natural fringe. And I'd add a welter of throw pillows in different-color stripes: think Fruit Stripe gum--and Sno-Cones--the official colors of summer.

I wish this kind of weather proof fabric was out a few years ago before I made pillows for an outdoor sofa that all got ruined!
